2018 has been a year off from doing shows and such. I felt the need to dig deep down again and come up with some fresh original ideas for a new body of paintings. Staying away from the scene a bit has been just what I needed. I´m in it for the longevity and truly discovering great paintings and how to, the process and more, not so much to pump out paintings over and over again just to be amongst the hype.
Well, each his own way..
This being said and all reflections aside, the whole harbor studio is crowded to the max at the moment with new stuff, some half done, some more or less finished. Everything just standing around and marinating and waiting for that final last touch that really brings it out. It´s been one year in the making and I´ve only done very few expos this year. Its a GREAT feeling now having this new body of work about to launch!
SAN FRANCISCO and DENVER are the places where the new works will air first!!
More about that soon
Here´s some images from the studio as of now so you all can see I haven´t been sleeping my time away ;)
